Paris Berelc has a fire within like no other. From TV to film, she showcases her talent and true beauty through her acting, sense of giving, love for family, and more. Here at Tilted, she spoke with us on a few topics that need to be highlighted and discussed. After all, change and progress can only be made when you listen to one another, hear each others’ perspectives and more. Reminding others to form their own opinion and find their voice, Berelc is a force of nature whose place in the world serves a greater purpose.
On FRIENDSHIP
Friends are the family you choose. You also become the company you keep. Everyone is put in your life for a reason even if they’re only in your life for short amount of time. It’s important to surround yourself with people who will be there for you as much as you are there for them.
On FAMILY
You should always make time for your family. My family keeps me grounded and they made so many sacrifices for me. If I didn’t have them, I wouldn’t have gotten this far in life or my career.
On FAITH
I think it’s important to believe in something bigger than yourself and that can be anything. For me, it’s God. That’s where my faith lives and in the past couple of years, I have been developing a closer relationship to Him. When I pray, I let out all of my feelings, even the ones I’m ashamed of. Knowing he’s there and believes in me, helps a lot with my anxiety.
On SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media can be a great tool in some ways but I am not the biggest fan of it. All social media outlets are biased and will take content down for the right price. I love I can see what my friends and family are up to. But it’s troubling to not feel confident in the news I’m reading or seeing young kids being exploited.
On IMPORTANCE OF POLITICS
It’s important to have your own opinion. Don’t hop on board just because it’s trendy. Do your own research.
On VIDEO GAMES
I loved video games when I was a kid. I had a Game Cube, I would play Mortal Combat and Need for Speed. My favorite games are racing games.
On IMPORTANCE OF PERSONAL STYLE
Your style shows who you are. It’s fun to put your own personality into the way you dress. It can serve as a creative outlet.
