Comic-Con Officially Cancelled Due to COVID-19
It’s official.
Pop culture’s most prized and anticipated event, San Diego’s Comic-Con has been cancelled.
This follows a recent trend within the entertainment industry to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, by limiting the access the public has to our once beloved sport and entertainment venues. The world wide phenomenon was scheduled to be held in San Diego’s convention center from July 23-26, yet Friday organizers of the event announced that they will be postponing the famous attraction.
But not all hope is lost.
Those in charge of the convention have said, that in the weeks to come, those that already purchased badges, will receive an email detailing if they would like to either transfer their badge to next year’s convention, which already has a projected date for July 22-25, 2021, or they can request a full refund.
Welp, looks like I’ll be seeing you guys at Comic-Con in 2021.
